Maritime
The Maritime Program hosted by Lamar State College Orange provides training to prepare new and experienced mariners for work in the maritime industry. A team of U.S. Coast Guard-approved instructors offer U.S. Coast Guard and STCW-approved courses. We facilitate these approved training options at the Polk County Center campus. Along with our accessibility, we provide a much lower-cost alternative to the present training model.
