Prerequisites
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License
- Must successfully complete a DOT Physical Examination and Drug Screen (cost not included in tuition)
- Must be able to read and speak the English language to converse with the general public and make entries on reports and records

Trucking is a high-demand industry that offers rock-solid wages and job security. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B training course can get you up to speed and on the road in as little as 11 weeks. Students in CDL Class B courses will learn: We provide a diverse mix of classroom and videos, discussion sessions, driving demos and -- most important -- on the road, hands-on driving experiences.
This is a self-paced, 40-hour online class that will teach you the basics of hazmat trip planning, D.O.T. regulation, how to read hazmat placards and their classifications and prepare you to take the State hazmat endorsement test.
There is no funding assistance available for endorsement courses.
